Located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, this 40 m² apartment, nestled within a stone building with classic Haussmannian charm, underwent a complete renovation entrusted to our studio. Designed for high-end rental, the project aimed to optimise every centimetre while preserving the character of the original architecture and integrating contemporary comfort.
The living space was entirely reimagined by opening the kitchen onto the living room, made possible by installing an IPN beam to create a more generous layout. The kitchen was moved to the former bathroom area to achieve a more fluid and functional distribution. In the same spirit of enhancing comfort, all the windows were replaced with double glazing, the radiators were renewed, the electrical system was fully updated, and a new front door with a three-point security lock was installed.
Wishing to preserve the soul of the place, we retained its emblematic heritage features: the original parquet flooring, restored to reveal its full beauty, as well as the fireplace, which remains the centrepiece of the living room.
In the bedroom, a custom-made five-door wardrobe was integrated to optimise storage while maintaining elegance and perfect flow. The work on perspectives, materials and discreet functional solutions transformed this small apartment into a bright, harmonious space perfectly suited to an elegant and long-lasting rental.
